 Dr. J is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned her doctorate degree at Touro University Nevada and a psychiatric post-master’s certificate at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. She is also a certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She earned this degree at South University. She is passionate about treating all of her patients as if they are family.

Dr. J's background includes 16 years in the medical field with 11 of those years practicing as a Registered Nurse (RN). She spent her last 4 years as an RN, caring for patients in ICU. Her nursing experience also includes acute/non-acute psychiatry, home health, spinal cord injury, medical-surgical, medical acute care, telemetry, long-term care and memory care. She loves that she has experience in so many areas because it makes it easier for her to care for any patients that she encounters.
